Information We Collect

Mosaic Twist does not require an account. The app does not send puzzle progress, saved games, Daily Twist results, streaks, settings, assistance balances, or best times to Mosaic Twist-controlled servers. This website is static and does not use contact forms.

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and page performance. The service measures information such as page views, referring websites, general device and browser categories, approximate country, and page-load performance. Mosaic Twist does not use this information to identify individual visitors. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, local storage, or persistent identifiers for this measurement.

Local App Data

Puzzle progress and saved games, Daily Twist results and streaks, settings, assistance balances, reminder preferences, trusted-date continuity data, and best times are stored locally on your device. Mosaic Twist does not provide cloud-synced progress. Deleting the app may remove local data; Apple controls device-backup and system-storage behavior.

Daily Date Verification

When Daily Twist is available, Mosaic Twist periodically asks the Mosaic Twist Daily Service for the current date and associated timezone. The request does not include an account, player ID, puzzle progress, result, streak, or device-reported timezone. Cloudflare receives ordinary network information, such as an IP address, and uses request metadata to associate a timezone. The Daily Service code does not intentionally retain IP addresses, user-agent strings, device identifiers, player IDs, or request histories. Cloudflare may process platform logs, metrics, and security events to operate and protect the service.

Daily puzzles are bundled with the app. If date verification is unavailable, Mosaic Twist uses its offline trusted-date fallback so Daily Twist can remain playable.

Purchase Information

Mosaic Twist Pro purchases and restoration are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Mosaic Twist processes verified product, transaction, and current-entitlement information on the device only as needed to offer, grant, restore, or remove Pro access.

To provide prompt startup and limited offline access, Mosaic Twist stores a provisional Pro-access status locally on your device after StoreKit verifies an entitlement. A directly purchased status may remain valid for up to 30 days, and a Family Shared status may remain valid for up to 24 hours. Mosaic Twist checks and reconciles this status with StoreKit on every app launch and removes it when StoreKit reports that the entitlement is no longer effective.

The local cache does not contain your Apple Account identity, payment information, transaction ID, or StoreKit receipt or signed transaction data (JWS). The cache is never sent to Mosaic Twist-controlled servers. Mosaic Twist does not collect this status or use it to track you. Mosaic Twist does not receive payment-card details or send transaction records to its own server. Apple’s privacy practices apply to App Store and StoreKit services.

Reminders, Clipboard, and Sharing

If you enable Daily Twist reminders, iOS stores and delivers local notification requests on your device. Mosaic Twist does not register for remote push notifications for this feature. When you tap Copy & Share Result, Mosaic Twist writes the spoiler-free result text to the system clipboard and passes the same text to the native iOS share sheet. iOS and the destination you choose control any further handling. Mosaic Twist does not upload the result or generate a result image.

Third-Party Services

When Mosaic Twist is downloaded through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s privacy practices may apply to App Store downloads, purchases, and related Apple services. This website is hosted by GitHub Pages, which may process basic server logs to operate the service. Cloudflare operates the Daily Service network layer and processes the aggregate website measurements described above to provide Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Changes

Features, content, and availability may change over time. We may update this policy when Mosaic Twist changes affect how information is handled. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
